Privacy Policy

Sawczuk Consulting ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website sawczuk.dev.

Information We Collect

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us when you:

  • Fill out contact forms on our website
  • Subscribe to our newsletter
  • Communicate with us via email or direct messages

This information may include your name, email address, company name, and any other details you choose to share.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and provide consulting services
  • Send periodic emails regarding our services or updates
  • Improve our website and services based on user feedback
  • Comply with legal obligations

Analytics

We measure how the site is used with Umami, an open-source analytics tool that we run ourselves on our own infrastructure in Poland. It is not Google Analytics, and the data is never sent to an advertising network.

For each page view we record:

  • the page address and the referring page, if any
  • browser, operating system, device type and screen size
  • the country the visit came from

No cookies are used and nothing is stored on your device for analytics. Your IP address is used only in the moment the request arrives, to derive a one-way hash that lets us count a repeat visit within the same day; the address itself is never written to our database, and the hash cannot be reversed to identify you. There is no cross-site tracking and no profile of you is built.

Analytics records are kept for 24 months and then deleted. Traffic to this site passes through Cloudflare, which acts as a processor for delivery and protection against abuse.

Cookies

We set no advertising or tracking cookies. The site stores a single preference on your device — your choice of light or dark theme — using browser local storage, so that the site looks the same on your next visit. It is read only by this site and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Data Storage

Information collected through our website is stored securely and accessed only by authorized personnel. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to external parties. We may share information with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our website, provided they agree to keep information confidential.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
